|Kari Workman is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from the University of Science and Arts of|
Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Sociology in 1998. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Oklahoma City University in 2000.
Over the years, Kari has worked in numerous settings ranging from juvenile prison, adolescent group homes, community agencies, and private practice. Her experience includes individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, loss and life transitions. She believes in the potential of the human spirit to rise above painful life situations. She believes it is her responsibility as a counselor to assess what the clients' problems are, in order to offer hope and support, to empower them to make the necessary changes in their lives, assist them in reaching their goals, and realize their full potential.
